Esmera is a sharp, elegant display roman for editorial typography.

The typeface is designed for headlines, effective for sizes 16pt and larger.

Drawn and digitized at the Type@Cooper 2021 Fall/Winter Principles Class, its closed counters, bell-bottom serifs and teardrop terminals convey a late 60s-inspired aesthetic.
